Working with local officials
Quiet Florida is working with local officials on “quieting the noise,” from modified mufflers to low-flying, frequent aircraft. We attend regular meetings with local law enforcement, present to Home Owners’ Associations and businesses, and had a booth at an Earth Day event. We raise awareness about noise pollution and rally support on our social channels: Facebook and Nextdoor.
Engaging with the community
Quiet Florida is raising awareness about the health impacts of noise pollution among our community. We organize community events to rally support for our cause and educate the public about the harmful effects of noise from modified mufflers and aircraft that are assaulting our neighborhoods.
